Our latest update, Frame Set 3.2, is a direct result of your feedback, designed to give you more power and precision in how you organize, share, and collaborate on your creative projects. We’ve focused on enhancements at every level of your workflow—from how you manage your entire Workspace down to how you organize a single Set.

This update introduces a suite of new features that give you finer control over your work. Let's dive into the enhancements at the Workspace, Project, and Set levels.

Workspace Enhancements: Streamlined Team Management

We’ve refined Workspace permissions to make managing your team’s access simpler and more secure. You can now assign roles with clear, distinct permissions across all projects within a Workspace:

  • Viewer: Invite a collaborator as a Viewer to give them view-only access to every Project in your Workspace. This is perfect for stakeholders who need to stay informed but don't need editing capabilities.
  • Editor: An Editor can work on and collaborate on any Project within the Workspace. They can rearrange frames, add to Subsets, and contribute directly to your creative efforts.
  • Admin: The Admin role has controls similar to your own. They can permanently delete Projects and add or invite new members to the Workspace.

When someone shares a Workspace or an individual Project with you, accessing it is seamless. Simply stay in your own Frame Set account, click on your Workspace name on the left side, and switch to the shared Workspace. This keeps your projects cleanly separated from theirs and allows you to move independently between different collaborative spaces.

Project Enhancements: Powerful New Ways to Organize and Share

This update brings some of our most-requested features to the Project level, making it easier than ever to manage your work and collaborate with others.

First, finding the right Project is now faster with Project Search. Simply start typing in the search bar on your Projects page to instantly filter your view. You can also now custom order your Projects, putting your most active work at the top, and we've added more helpful sorting options to refine your view. For Admins, we’ve added the ability to permanently delete Projects from your archive, helping you keep your Workspace tidy.

The biggest change is how you share. For the first time, you can now invite collaborators to an individual Project. Whether they are a Frame Set member or not, you can grant them either "View Only" or "Edit" access. An editor can do more than just see your work—they can rearrange frames, add them to Subsets, search Frame Set, and add new assets directly to the Set you're working on together.

Need to send a preview to a client? You can easily generate a view-only link to a Project or even specific Subsets, allowing them to see your progress without needing to create an account.

Set Enhancements: Deeper Organization and Flexibility

At the heart of this update is a feature we know you’ve been waiting for: Subsets. You can now create folders within your Sets, which is great for when you want to organize a Set into more specific, broken-down chunks—like grouping assets by specific scenes or by stylistic treatments.

To complement this, we’ve also introduced a new move function. You can now take any Frame or Motion from a Set or Subset and easily move it to another Set or Subset, giving you complete flexibility to reorganize your projects as your creative vision evolves.
