2.1: Introducing New, Community-Focused, Features
Introduction
We are excited to announce the release of several new features on Frame Set, designed to enhance the community aspect of our platform. Our team has been working hard to make it easier for you to connect with other filmmakers and find inspiration faster than ever before. We'd like to take a moment to introduce you to these new features and show you how they can benefit you.
Feature Set page
Our new Featured Set page is a great tool to help you take advantage of the vast library of Sets and collections created by other members. You can easily browse other members' Sets for inspiration and showcase your own Sets to others. In addition to viewing members' Sets, you can also see some basic information, such as a website, Instagram, name, and location (if the member has provided such information on their public profile).
If you're a member of Frame Set, update your profile with your website and Instagram so other members can find and connect with you. Also, check your Set's privacy settings based on the rules below:
Public Sets: Allow Sets to appear on the featured Set page or in a search results.
Private Sets: Can be shared with other collaborators via a private, unlisted, link.
Redesign of Frame Set Search Bar
We've completely redesigned our search bar to make it easier for you to find what you need faster and more efficiently. You can now search and complete more sentences, as well as easily browse other trending searches and featured titles and credits. As soon as you click the search bar, you'll immediately see a drop-down with results that match your query. You'll also see some of your recent searches, which you can click to start a new search or quickly clear with a single click.
Upload Any Image to See Similar Results
Our new feature allows you to search for similar frames by uploading an image, design, or any other frame. This feature can be especially helpful for treatment designers looking for specific references, cinematographers trying to find inspiration, or directors who need to find variations of a particular reference from an agency or production company. Simply click the "Upload frame" button to the right of the search bar, upload an image, design, or frame, and click "Search" to see similar results across Frame Set.
Subtle Improvements to Set Panel
We've made several subtle improvements to our Set Page to make it easier for you to shape and craft your visions through Sets. With a single drag and drop method, you can now rearrange frames, select and remove multiple frames, or create an entirely new Sets with those frames. We've also added a new feature that allows for quick single-frame downloads. Additionally, we've improved the Set download process with a progress bar that provides more accurate time estimates.
Brand New History Tab
Our new History sidebar panel allows you to jump back and forth between your most recent searches. By utilizing this feature, you can easily navigate to your most recent searches and find the content you need quickly.
Improved Frame Submission Process
We've made it even easier for you to submit frames with our improved Frame Submission Process. You can now easily see how far along your submission is in the process, from submitted to in review, completed, or rejected. By utilizing this feature, you can easily submit frames and track their progress through the submission process.
Search Camera / Lens Data
Our new Search camera / lens search feature makes it easy to search for your favorite cameras, lenses, and camera systems. Simply click on the browse button and under equipment, select cameras, lenses, or camera systems. From there, you can scroll and click on any camera or lens that you like, click on the name of the camera or lens to view specific information about it, and sort cameras, lenses, or camera systems from A to Z, by count, or by featured status.
